The R Chase Team

Shelli Chase

She's a contrarian of sorts.  Her experience has led her toward points of view that may challenge the norm but they have won her client's trust over time.  She's also an inspired fundraiser, a community leader, and, most important, a valued friend to her clients.

Shelli Chase is a woman who takes her own advice.  Twenty years ago Shelli attended a professional seminar on helping clients determine their definition of success.  The speaker shared his idea of success...the ability to take a week off every month.

It was at that moment that Shelli decided her idea of success would be to achieve a balanced life.  and for the past several years, Shelli has been living that life, taking time to be with friends and family, challenging herself with adventurous travel, and making the time to give back to the community she loves.

Jonathan Rose

Jon has been working in the financial services industry since 1994, beginning his career with Piper Jaffray.  Jon has been with R Chase Financial since 1998.  He has earned the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) designation and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

In school Jon was not only an honor student but a letter winning athlete.  He graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Finance from Augsburg College and was selected to the National Leadership Honor Society in 1993 and 1994.  He was also a member of the National Honor Society in Business Administration and served as Vice President for that organization in 1994.

It was not all work and no play.  Jon was a four-year letter winner in baseball and was named  captain of the team in 1993 and 1994.  He was also an Academic All Conference selection in 1992, 1993, and 1994.

In his spare time Jon enjoys outdoor sports including golf, softball, basketball, and tennis.  In fact, you name the the athletic activity and Jon is probably an enthusiast.  He also enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters and son in their many activities.

A bit of trivia.  Jon has gone to the Twins home opener almost every year since the third grade, when his dad would pull him out of school to attend.  Given his grades, missing an afternoon certainly didn't hurt his GPA!

Kathy Brown

The first voice you're likely to hear when you call R Chase Financial is Kathy Brown's.  Kathy has been office manager at R Chase financial since 2001.  She brings with her over twenty years of office management experience.

During her career she has worked in a wide variety of industries including high tech, construction, and pharmaceutical.  Regardless of the industry, Kathy says all offices share common needs:  someone to organize and someone who likes to do a lot of different things.  Kathy says the best part of the job is that it is a small office with lots to do.  "I could work 24/7 and still not finish all my work.  I love that!"

When she's not taking care of business at work, Kathy is a devoted mom to her son Cole and you can find her most evenings either on the baseball or football field cheering him on.
